Walking Tracks

Our open space network includes many informal walking tracks and trails which provide a variety of opportunities for residents and visitors to experience nature. For more information read the Bushwalks of Parramatta brochure. 

Lake Parramatta Reserve

Lake Parramatta Reserve is a 75ha bushland reserve which is located only two kilometres from the Parramatta CBD. The entrance to the reserve is from Lackey Street, off Bourke Street, in North Parramatta. There are a number of formal tracks which form a circuit around the edge of the lake, the original water supply for Parramatta. The Ponds Walk

The Ponds Walk is a 6.6km track which follows Ponds/Subiaco Creek from Eric Mobbs Memorial Park in Carlingford to Jim Crowgey Reserve in Rydalmere. Read more about this trail in The Ponds Walk brochure.

Terrys Creek Walk

Terrys Creek Walk is a 2km track in Eastwood/Epping which allows walkers to experience Blue Gum High Forest. Read more about this trail in the Terrys Creek Walk brochure
