At Parramatta

In response to the NSW Government’s staged easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the Parramatta Heritage & Visitor Information Centre is now open Tuesday - Friday 10am to 3pm (and will be updated accordingly based on COVID restrictions). There is a limit of 20 customers in this facility at any one time. Please follow the guidance of staff when you visit.

The Research Library is open to the public for timed visits as well as for pre-arranged appointments. To arrange appointments please phone 8839 3322 or email localstudies@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au

Our staff are available with information on Parramatta's heritage attractions, accommodation, venues for hire, restaurants, entertainment, shopping, walks and tours. Plus there is a range of free brochures and maps that you can take with you.

A visit to Parramatta is not complete without a momento - the Visitor Information Centre Gift Shop specialises in quality gifts and souvenirs reflecting the region’s unique colonial and indigenous heritage and diverse contemporary culture.
