Are you interested in travelling on the new Parramatta Light Rail and have questions on how to navigate the light rail or mobility access?

About the Guided Trip

The 'Have a Go' program is for people from all walks of life, so they can learn to travel confidently and safely in a small group environment.

Participants will meet Transdev and Council Officers for a guided 'Have a Go' trip, where the tour will travel between Parramatta Square to Westmead and back again.

By the end of the tour, you will know how to utilise light rail to get where you need to go, while travelling safely and independently.

Meeting Point: Parramatta Square Light Rail Stop (Cnr Macquarie Street and Smith Street) on the westbound platform (heading to Westmead)

Duration: 1.5hrs

End Point: Parramatta Square Light Rail Stop

Important information

  • All ages are welcome (under 16 must be accompanied by a supervising adult)
  • This guided tour is FREE (including the light rail trip) however registrations are essential (maximum number of 20 participants)
  • The tour is largely based on the light rail with brief stops at selected platforms.
  • If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket to allow others the chance to participate.
