Updated Parramatta River ferry closure

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has extended its closure of ferry services on the F3 Parramatta River route.

The revised schedule sees ferries stop at 8.30pm Wednesday 8 October through to 5.00am Monday 13 October. Buses will replace ferries from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf to Parramatta Quay including Rydalmere Wharf.

Ferry services between Circular Quay Wharf and Sydney Olympic Park Wharf will continue as normal.

Please note: there is also a contingency weekend closure beginning 8.30pm Friday 17 October to 5.00am Monday 20 October 2025.

The Ermington Boat Ramp will remain closed until 6pm Friday 17 October, inclusive of weekends. Silverwater Boat Ramp will be closed from 8.30pm Wednesday 8 October to 5.00am Monday 13 October.

Residents, river users, and commuters, are encouraged to register for updates for new information.
