Eats, beats and art return for Parramatta Lanes
Published on 24 September 2025
Parramatta’s first-ever outdoor Boodle Fight, giant art installations, aerial performers, pro-wrestling, disco buggies, line-dancing and an epic line-up of musicians and DJs are set to take over the City for Parramatta Lanes this October.
This year’s program is set to be bigger and better than ever with more than 200 artists across 10 stages, over 80 food stalls, and interactive artworks across 21 sites during the four-day festival.
Global TikTok sensation, OCKY WAY will make his Australian debut at Lanes this year, bringing his famous deli creations including his celebrity-approved chopped cheese sandwiches direct from Brooklyn, New York.
Australian punk rock royalty, the Hard-Ons, Sudanese-Australian hip hop artist VvPete and Colin Hennerz, the nation’s most in-demand DJ will headline the flagship festival with international performers hailing from the USA, UK, China, New Zealand and local acts also set to perform.
Viral foodie highlights include an exclusive tiramisu-topped iced latte, loaded chicken cones and spuds at Eat Street Car Park rooftop. With plenty more food from all over the world such as American-style BBQ meats, smash burgers, fried chicken, charcoal skewers, Japanese-style desserts and knafeh to sink your teeth into at Lanes.
City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said the annual festival continues to draw local and international talent to a City that is proud of its art and culture scene.
“Parramatta Lanes is where eats, beats and art come alive in our City – last year more than 200,000 people attended and we are expecting to build on that this year with our incredible lineup of music, art and food,” Cr Zaiter said.
“There is so much to discover from giant artworks, aerial performers, delicious food from all over the world and live performances from a range of musical genres, it’s about showcasing the amazing food, art and performances from Western Sydney and beyond.”
Other exciting highlights including the Pass the Mic Grand Final event by Bodega Collective, AI tarot reading, silent discos, CLIPPED Karaoke and a stacked line-up of live music performances from Afrobeats, Punk, Rock, Country, Indie, Hip Hop, R&B and Baile Funk.
Powerhouse Lane is set to return and take over Horwood Place with a celebration of the culinary and musical landscape of Western Sydney, featuring music curated by MC Trey, Koori Radio and KERFEW.
Powerhouse Chief Executive Lisa Havilah said Parramatta Lanes is a standout in Sydney's cultural calendar.
“Powerhouse is thrilled to present the return of Powerhouse Lane as part of this festival in collaboration with City of Parramatta,” Ms Havilah said.
“As the city transforms over four epic nights, Powerhouse will celebrate the sounds and flavours of Western Sydney.”
Minister for Transport, John Graham said it was exciting to support Powerhouse Lane in Parramatta.
“Too often our main streets are something we drive through, rather than drive to. Our main streets are a critical part of our social infrastructure, and this program demonstrates how we can use our streets to bring communities together and drive revenue for local businesses,” Mr Graham said.
“The Open Streets program temporarily transforms our main streets into thriving, vibrant public event spaces.
“The colour and diversity of these 240 events across NSW, celebrates the unique personality of each town or suburb. This is what our vibrancy agenda is all about, backing locals to create events and entertainment that works for their local community.”
Member for Parramatta, Donna Davis said Lanes introduces festival goers to sounds and flavours they’ve never experienced before and that’s what makes Parramatta Lanes so unique and successful.
“Parramatta Lanes has become a must on everyone’s calendar as it brings the community together to celebrate live music, art and mouthwatering food in the heart of Western Sydney,” Ms Davis said.
City of Parramatta received a $350,000 grant through the Program to deliver the event over the next three years.
