Parramatta 60th Anniversary

It’s our 60th birthday!

In 2018 Parramatta Library celebrates 60 years of inspiring the community through free access to knowledge.  It was officially opened by His Worship the Mayor, Alderman D. J Mahoney on Saturday 29 November 1958. Visit our anniversary page for more information.

The City of Parramatta Library and six branch libraries offer a place for locals to enjoy books, CDs, DVDs and a wide range of services and events every week, ranging from activities for children, talks by well-known authors, computer classes, ESL classes, workshops and much more.
