Frequently Asked Questions
  • The Ticketless Parking system does not use physical tickets and instead adopts new Smart Parking technology to allow for a smoother, faster and hassle-free experience when entering and exiting our car parks.

  • The system uses Licence Plate Recognition technology which reads each vehicle’s number plate on car park entry and exit, records the time of your stay and calculates your parking fee.

    • Cuts the queues at the boom gate and payment machines - there will be no more paper jams, tickets being inserted incorrectly and wasted time locating the ticket.
    • Better environmental impact by removing paper waste.
    • Reduces the risk of losing your physical ticket - one less thing for you to remember to hold on to!
    • Provides a more consistent, efficient, quicker, and easier parking experience in Parramatta

  • Your vehicle’s licence plate will be read and recorded when you approach the entrance and the boom gate will automatically lift for your entry. You can pay for your parking in 2 ways:

    a) At the payment machine: Before leaving, visit the pay machine, enter your vehicle’s licence details, and make a payment. Then, drive to the exit boom gate in your vehicle where your licence plate will be scanned, and the boom gate will automatically lift to allow exit.

Quick tip: keep a photo of your licence plate or write your licence plate number down.

    b) At the boom gate: Simply drive to the exit boom gate, wait for your vehicle’s licence plate to be scanned, make a payment and exit the car park when the boom gate is lifted.

Either way you choose to pay, no tickets will be issued, and cash payments will not be accepted.
