Parramatta Light Rail Tree Planting and Neighbourhood Improvement Program

Pink Spotted Gum Tree Flower

Tree planting is set to take place in streets in North Parramatta and Westmead as part of a pilot tree planting program by Parramatta Light Rail in partnership with the City of Parramatta.

Throughout the construction period of Parramatta Light Rail, Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is looking to plant several thousand new trees to make surroundings for the local community significantly greener and help offset the trees that need to be removed.

Please see tree planting information, tree types pages, and frequently asked questions for more information.
