Parramatta People video series This series will profile locals who have played an important role in our City’s rich and diverse history as well as individuals who are shaping our future today.
This series captures a range of stories: from a young man who helped bridge the cultural divide between Parramatta’s early settlers and the Dharug people, to a talented colonial architect, and Parramatta Female Factory’s longest-serving matron. There is much to learn about the people who have helped make Parramatta the great city we know. New profiles to join the series coming soon.
Note for teachers and students - these videos have been produced to address learning outcomes in the NSW curricula for primary school students.

James Houison - a migrant architect
Ann Gordon - Parramatta Female Factory Matron
