Council Parking Stations
There are five 24-hour parking stations in and near the Parramatta CBD, all with affordable fees starting from $3 per hour.
Council’s parking stations have recently been upgraded to cashless payment systems, with the Parramatta CBD multi-level stations also now featuring fresh lighting and painting. Find out more about these upgrades at Council’s smart parking upgrades page.
As a special deal, until 30 June 2025, you can park for up to 18 hours for just $14 at the Parramatta Station (Wentworth Street) parking station. The Parramatta Station and Justice Precinct stations also offer free parking on Sundays.

Parramatta Aquatic Centre Car Park
Parking at the PAC is timed, the first 2 hours are free for eligible patrons. After this time, it will be charged at $3.50 per 30 minutes.
The capped daily rate will be $38.00.

In the event of a machine malfunction, you can apply for a Multi-Level Car Park Refund. Please note that Council does not provide refunds for lost or misplaced tickets.
Private Parking Stations
There are some private parking stations in the Parramatta CBD.
There is limited parking available for the general public at the Novotel, the Meriton Suites and other private parking stations. Some of these parking stations offer flat all-day rates (such as $12 for six hours or $20 all day parking).
CommBank Stadium also offers casual paid parking in the stadium’s western and northern car parks at $3 per hour or $10 per day. Please note there is no on-site parking available at CommBank Stadium on event days, be sure to check the event calendar.
On-Street Parking
There are more than 1,655 on-street metered parking spaces in the Parramatta CBD and surrounding areas. Some spaces offer free 15-minute parking, to encourage motorists to conduct quick local shopping and other trips.

Payment is via:
- Credit card (VISA, Mastercard and AMEX) - minimum spend 50 cents; or
- The EasyPark mobile phone app.
Cash payments are no longer accepted.
Payment via the EasyPark mobile phone app comes with the added bonus that you no longer need to pay and display your ticket. Service fees apply.

All day on-street parking
For all day parking, a minimum fee of $5.50 and maximum fee of $10.50 applies for metered parking spaces in the Parramatta CBD and surrounding areas. Fees are subject to change.
Generally, all-day parking is available on one side of the street only.

Hourly on-street parking
Hourly meter rates start from $2 an hour and reach a maximum of $4.50 an hour for the Parramatta CBD and surrounding areas.
Motorcycle Parking
Motorcycles have designated free locations around the Parramatta CBD, these locations include:
- Erby Place (off Horwood place alongside Eat Street car park)
- Fire Horse Lane (outside Parramatta Station car park)
- Hunter Street (under cover near Justice Precinct car park entry ramp).
