A range of funding grants are available across the local community through City of Parramatta, where the Community Capacity Building team manages and coordinates a range of funding programs and individual consultation with organisations and group workshops.

All applications for funding grants are completed online through SmartyGrants - you only need to register once and if you have applied via SmartyGrants previously you can use your existing password and login again.

Planning Your Projects

Developing a work plan or timeline is an excellent way to achieve a successful project as it records the major milestones for the project and who is responsible for completing them. Providing such information is a good way to show that your project is well planned and ready to go. To assist you in this process, we have developed a basic sample Project Plan and Work Plan for you to use in the planning and implementation process.

Progress Reports and Acquittals

All organisations who receive funding grants from City of Parramatta are required to complete their projects within twelve months of funding. Quarterly grant recipients are required to complete their projects within 6 months of funding.

You'll need to provide 2 Progress Reports during the funding period and a Final Acquittal Report upon project completion for projects funded through the annual program. Quarterly Grants are required to submit a Final Acquittal Report only.

Report Type Due Date
4 month Progress Report (annual grants only) 1 November
9 month Progress Report (annual grants only) 1 April
Final Acquittal Report 1 July (in the following year)
