Join award-winning artist Cameron Stead for a watercolour and gouache workshop series at PHIVE, Parramatta. Over six weeks, build foundational skills in colour-mixing, observation, composition, and creative thinking—perfect for all levels, including returning participants from the 2024 series. Create artworks focused on still life, interiors and portraits, in a supportive and playful environment.
This workshop series is designed to be a supportive, safe and playful learning environment, accessible to people of all skill levels. All of the art-making materials required for this program are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own materials, if you wish.
Suitable for ages 18+

$70 workshop fee covers all 6 classes. Individual classes are not available.

About Cameron:
Cameron Stead is an interdisciplinary artist based on Gadigal Country. Stead’s practice spans painting, performance, installation and fibre art, and uses colour and materiality in a broad range of processes to investigate ideas of the self in public and private spaces, as well as dualities of the lived experience. Stead is the 2017 winner of the Kilgour Prize and a 2020-21 Waverly Studios Artist in Residence
