Sydney Writers' Festival - Hedley Thomas: The Teacher's Pet

Hedley Thomas Portrait

Now a global sensation, this is the true crime podcast that helped catch a killer.

With an extensive career in investigative journalism, Walkley Award winning Hedley Thomas is familiar with uncovering the truth. His 2018 hit podcast The Teacher’s Pet did just that, seeing justice brought to the 1980s cold case of Sydney nurse Lynette Simms.

Discussing the book that dove deeper into the podcast and investigation, join Hedley in conversation with Patrick Abboud for a behind-the-scenes look.

Date: Saturday 25th May 2024
