Business Connect Workshop

Local search engine optimisation (SEO) is a powerful yet often underutilised tool for small businesses in regional communities. This workshop will demonstrate leveraging local SEO strategy to increase visibility, attract local customers, and drive sales in your area. Learn how to optimise your online presence and use both Google My Business and Bing Local Business profile features to engage effectively with your community and grow your business.

You will learn:

• The importance of local SEO for small businesses in regional communities.
• How to set up and optimise your Google My Business and Bing Local Business profiles for increased local visibility.
• Effective ways to use local profile features like posts, reviews, and photos to attract and retain customers.
• How to use analytics tools to understand local customer behaviours and make informed marketing decisions.

You will develop:

• A fully optimised local profile that drives local sales and increases foot traffic.
• The ability to engage effectively with your regional audience through reviews, updates, and offers.
• Strategies to stand out from competitors and become a preferred choice in your community.
• Opportunities to improve customer trust and loyalty through consistent online interactions.

You will finish the session with:
 

• An actionable plan to use local profiles to enhance your business's visibility and sales.
• Knowledge of creating engaging posts, responding to reviews, and effectively showcasing your offerings.
• A better understanding of how local SEO strategy can be a cost-effective sales tool in your marketing strategy.
