The Fitness Centre at The PAC is a state-of-the-art facility designed to cater for various fitness disciplines, from the recreational and social to the dedicated fitness enthusiast. We have compiled a list of FAQs to help your visit to The PAC enjoyable. 

The PAC gym will be fully equipped with the latest gym equipment including Concept 2 Rowers and Ski Ergs, Wattbikes, Airdynes, upper body ergs, spin bikes and Woodway Trueform Curve Trainers.

Fully enclosed sports shoes, t-shirt or singlet and appropriate pants or shorts must be always worn in gym areas. Work clothes, boots, sandals, or thongs are not to be worn while in the gym areas.

Yes, the fitness facility is accessible and access to accessible change rooms are also available, see staff for further assistance and for advice on accessible fitness equipment

Upon joining the PAC, you can book into an induction session with our fitness professionals. This session will cover your health and fitness goals and a program on how to achieve your goals; safe use of equipment will also be covered.

Yes, Personal Training is offered in 30 minutes/1-hour sessions for 1 on 1 and small group format (2 to 4 people) 1-hour sessions only. 

The group fitness timetable is available to view via link below. If you would like to book a class, you must have a guest or member account set up and log in through the client portal via the website or use the PAC Fitness app.

Classes are bookable though the PAC Fitness app, on our website via the client portal or by using the kiosks located in centre.

All group fitness classes open for bookings 25 hours in advance.

Please ensure that if you can no longer attend a session, that you cancel your booking as soon as you can but no less than 1 hour before the class to allow another member to access the class.

Cancelling the class booking is simple. It can be done in the PAC Fitness app or via the client portal in the same way that you booked the class. It’s important to note that by not cancelling, you are preventing other members from booking in and utilising the space.

After 1 hour before has past cancelations are no longer possible and no shows may result in a penalty.

A no-show penalty system is enforced to ensure that the majority of places are available in classes and that members are encouraged to cancel at least 1 hour before their booked class if they cannot attend giving another person a chance to attend.

Members and guests who do not cancel a class that they have booked into at least 1 hour before and do not attend that class will be sent an email and app notification reminding them to cancel in future.

If a participant fails to cancel a booking on more than two occasions within any (14 day) period, they will receive a third message advising that a block will be placed on their account that excludes them from booking into any group fitness classes for the following (14 days). Member will still be able to access all other elements of their PAC membership during this period.

Reformer Pilates classes at the PAC are an exclusive inclusion for our Foundation Members. All other Health and Wellness Membership types include our general group fitness class offerings but exclude Reformer. If you wish to enjoy the benefits of a Reformer session with us, you can do so by purchasing a class at the time of booking.

Yes, all memberships are a 3-month minimum term.

Members may suspend their membership for a maximum of 4 weeks per year, this must be done for a minimum of 14 days and with more than 14 days’ notice. Requests should be made through the Membership Portal. 

Members may cancel their membership giving a minimum of 14 days' notice in line with the members regular payment cycle after the completion of the contract minimum term. Requests should be made through the membership portal. Gym memberships are a minimum of 3-month commitment.

Yes, the Parramatta Aquatic Centre does accept Fitness Passport for its aquatic facilities. This includes the 10 lane 50m outdoor heated pool, 25m Indoor heated Leisure pool and the Indoor Splash Zone. 

Fitness passport access at the PAC is for all aquatic spaces of the facility. For gym admission and group fitness classes (including aqua aerobics), a full access membership is required. Casual gym visits and class passes can be purchased.

These relaxation facilities are part of our health and wellness offering and require a full centre membership to access. You can purchase casual visit passes to utilise these spaces for $9.30 per session.

Onsite car parking at the PAC for Fitness Passport holders will be charged at advertised rate - $3.00 per half hour. No discounts will be applicable.

All Foundation Members are eligible to receive an allocation of 2-week guest passes to gift to friends/family. The amount received will be based on which release you joined on. 1st release will receive 3, 2nd release will receive 2 and 3rd release will receive 1. These passes will be available to collect in centre once the facility opens and will provide 14 consecutive days access to the centre (excluding swimming lessons, personal training and reformer Pilates).
